Abstract
In 2000, for the first time a short QT interval was linked to a sporadic case of sudden cardiac death and an unrelated family with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.1,2 Three years later, a short QT interval associated with a high risk of sudden cardiac was first described in two unrelated families.3
