Patient

This is a 28-year-old male athlete engaged in triathlon, selected for inclusion in the Italian National team. According to the program of the Italian National Olympic Committee, he was referred to our Institute for a comprehensive medical and physiologic evaluation. The family history was negative for cardiovascular disease and/or sudden death in relatives. Personal history was negative for any previous event or cardiovascular symptom. Athlete also denied drugs abuse.
