Abstract
Ah, saving the best part for last. When it is summer in the north, the center of the Milky Way is as far above the horizon as it is going to get and now is the time to take on Scorpius and Sagittarius, both with lots of nebulous gas and dust clouds to enjoy. Don’t overlook the smaller constellations: Corona Australis and Vulpecula, as an example, have several excellent nebulae that are worth some of your time under dark skies.
