Abstract
In this chapter, I discuss how to get a job as a physician-scientist. Where can you look for jobs? How do you prepare an academic CV? What should you keep in mind during an interview and while negotiating your start-up package? Although this discussion is directed towards physician-scientists who are just finishing their training and are looking for their first jobs, many of these issues are pertinent to mid-career and senior physician-scientists as well.
If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.
