Abstract
When the authors of this volume were researching trauma centers for children, very few responded. Several of the centers described in this chapter did not reply to requests for information or interviews, or after the description was completed, did not review the material for accuracy. Therefore, the data for those centers from the interviews with Robert Pynoos and William Yule may be somewhat dated. The centers described in this chapter, though, have much to offer as templates for other centers. The most comprehensive of these, CIVITAS, is described below.
