Abstract
In this chapter we present some preliminary observations on wild-living Hapalemur griseus which should be of interest despite their brevity, since this species has previously been the subject only of anecdotal observation. Elsewhere (Petter and Peyrieras, 1970), we have attempted to synthesize this material with more copious data derived from captive studies of the animal; the reader is referred to that study for more comprehensive information.
