Abstract
This chapter provides a reference manual for the Object-Z language. It is intended to be kept on hand when using the language for clarification and reinforcement of the meaning and use of Object-Z constructs. The chapter includes a “manual page” for each of the syntactic constructs introduced in Chapter 3. Each manual page comprises a brief description of the construct, its concrete syntax, its type rules and other rules of usage — stated informally in English text — and a semi-formal definition of the construct in a simple meta-language.
