Abstract
The patient was identified and the extremity marked in the preoperative holding area. He/she was brought into the operative suite and placed supine on the operating table.
General endotracheal anesthesia was induced without difficulty. IV antibiotics were administered and a Foley catheter was inserted under sterile technique.
