Abstract

Pediatric spine has two periods of rapid growth of the spine, the first 5 years in life (about 1.4 cm/year), from the age of 10 years until skeletal maturity (about 1.2 cm/year), and from 5–10 years old the growth of spine is slowed down (about 0.6 cm/year).
