Abstract
Epidemiology is the study of health and illness in human or other (veterinary) populations. In this course, we consider real-world health and illness problems, and we show how epidemiologic concepts and methods allow us to study, understand and solve such problems. And, most important, we apply each new concept or method as we develop it to help you attain a growing understanding of the subject.
