Abstract

A group of experts in health, nutrition, and child development met at the International Child Development Centre (ICC) in Ankara in July 2007. They reviewed the WHO and UNICEF training for health workers, designed to improve counseling of families on child growth and psychosocial development in first-level health facilities in order to promote the healthy growth and development of young children.
