Abstract
Various WLAN parameters have specific significance with regard to their application domain. Parameters that affect WLAN performance in indoor environments may be different from those that are important in vehicular communication. Performance of WLAN in a particular application mainly depends on the proper evaluation of the associated parameters.

A mobile node is in vehicular setup when it is placed outdoors, such as on the roads.
