Abstract
This appendix contains a list of the plates numbered in order as found in eight classical constellation atlases that are mentioned in the text. The intention of such a list is twofold: to give the reader an idea of the content of these works, and to help the collector locate the source of a plate from its title. In addition, the internal image dimension or the diameter of the hemisphere of one or two representatives is given as an indication of the size of the plates from the listed edition, which should also help in identification (keeping in mind that the exact sizes vary from plate to plate in some cases). The dimensions of plates from other editions are given in the main text. Although many of the titles are in a non-English language, I have listed them using regular script rather than italics in order to simplify the presentation. Text found on the plates is underlined; otherwise, the plates are identified by the major constellations depicted. Notes are in brackets. The spelling reflects that used in the atlas.
