Abstract

Single or common ventricle is a rare and complex form of congenital heart disease in which the ventricular chamber receives blood from both atrioventricular valves, either separately or as a common atrioventricular valve. Cardiac catheterization and selective angiocardiography are required to establish the diagnosis.
