Abstract

During recent investigations of fluorides with tetravalent Ce, Pr, Nd, Tb, and Dy, numerous new fluorides, e.g. CsRbKTbF7, Cs2RbCeF7, Rb2KPrF7, were obtained and studied with x-ray methods. As is the case with Cs2KNdF7, Cs2RbNdF7, and Cs3NdF7 (all orange) and Cs2KD yF7, Cs2RbDyF7 and Cs3DyF7, all fluorides were cubic and isotypic to (NH4)3ZrF7.
