Abstract
As predicted for the Macintosh computer, spermatogenesis will continue after Y2K. In fact, continued overpopulation and high levels of infertility, as well as discoveries such as Viagra, lend great importance to improved understanding of the mechanisms that regulate male reproduction. In this chapter, I will discuss a few areas of research that should be vigorously pursued in the coming years. The topics to be discussed are restricted to the testis, and represent only a limited vision for future research in andrology as seen by one with the bias of a molecular biologist.
