Abstract

Breast surgery for benign conditions and breast cancer occupies a considerable proportion of general surgical practice. This chapter deals with the repertoire of surgery to the breast, including oncoplastic breast reconstructive techniques relating to the complications, risks, and consequences, to provide information and discussion towards risk reduction. For other associated procedures, refer to other relevant chapters and volumes.
