Abstract

In this chapter, an overview of the PV emulators proposed in the technical literature in the last decades is presented. The most critical and interesting aspects related to their design and operation, including hardware structures, control features, dynamics, power ratings, and modularity, are emphasized. A brief survey of commercial solutions is presented too.
