Abstract
In this final chapter we conclude the book by summarizing the different ideas and concepts that we have developed and tested throughout this book. We reiterate the main results that were developed in each chapter, generating a virtual map of the discussion presented in this book. Also, we remind the reader how the individual concepts from rotor dynamics, control theory, fluid dynamics, electromagnetics, and machine design were integrated to build a truly multidisciplinary approach to active compressor surge suppression.
