Abstract
This chapter aims to teach the reader how to handle meshing and animation of a 3D surface like the sea surface using MATLAB®. In addition, the reader will learn how to create and handle Spot Lights in VRML. Furthermore, the user will learn how to add readily available objects from the library of VRML to the virtual scene. The reader will also implement rotations and translations in VRML to animate a ship moving across sea waves.
