This chapter deals with the final part of software implementation: going live or moving the system into production. It is also fitting that this chapter contains conclusions about the methods and approaches discussed in this book. There are three major steps that are necessary to move the application into a production environment: user training, IT’s role, and the preparation steps for going live.
