Abstract
Dr. Jerrold Kemp is one of the most accomplished scholars in instructional technology. His career spans over 30 years, and thus, his contribution to the field of instructional technology should be duly recognized. Dr. Kemp received his doctorate in instructional technology from Indiana University. He also worked as a high school science teacher and media coordinator in Miami, Florida. Dr. Kemp began his career in academia at the San Jose State University as a professor of education, where he also worked as the coordinator of media production and instructional development services. He taught at San Jose State University for 30 years of his academic career. His steady career at the university is one that should be envied.
