Abstract

So far you’ve seen just how versatile Outlook 2007 can be, and with a few tweaks here and there it’s possible to do practically anything you need to do without having to get into complicated scripting or full-blown programming. Nevertheless, as with the rest of the Office suite, the underlying engine that powers Outlook is built on a highly versatile programming platform called Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), which allows virtually unlimited customization and programmatic manipulation of Outlook’s functionality.
