Abstract
Spin 1/2 and two-level systems are simple enough that quite often they allow explicit solutions to their underlying problems and provide a wealth of information on quantum systems, in general. This chapter is devoted entirely to these structures and their intricate details. It includes important quantum predictions that are made by their direct analyses which may be tested experimentally.
