Abstract
This chapter describes the basics of large technical system (LTS) development management: the problems of optimal development plan (D-plan) selection, LTS sustainable development methods, and LTS development optimization criteria. This chapter explains that LTS development process (D-process) is dynamic—the creation or reconstruction of system objects is performed in different locations of the system and at different time moments. The relative efficiency of D-plans in D-process is variable—it means that decision has to be taken considering long-time period. In real tasks, D-plan total can reach up to 1020, due to those new methods of LTS optimization have to be developed. LTS sustainable development management is sophisticated activity because of uncertainty of future. To overcome this condition, in this chapter, we come forward with dynamic management methods. This chapter describes LTS development optimization multi-criteria problem, as well as presents new solutions of this problem.
