Abstract
An association between obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSA) and glaucoma was described in 1982 when physicians identified a family whose members had OSA and glaucoma, with the severity of the glaucoma correlating with the severity of the OSA. Since this first recognized possible association, several case reports and case series, studies, and other reports have described a variable association of OSA with glaucoma. Most reports found an association, but some reports did not. This chapter discusses all of these findings, and the reader will see that a possible/probable - but not definite - association with OSA and glaucoma exists.
