Résumé
Le modèle étudiant est basé sur les développements récents de la psychologie et tient compte, entre autre, de la dimension restreinte de la mémoire de travail, du temps de latence, des formes de connaissances et de l'environnement. Ce modèle est dit dynamique car il simule les mécanismes que possède l'étudiant pour acquérir des connaissances ou pour résoudre des problèmes. L'utilité de ce modèle est de permettre au tuteur de tester sa stratégie pédagogique sur celuici avant de l'appliquer. Une des originalités du modèle est qu'il intègre la vision que se fait l'étudiant de l'environnement ainsi que l'environnement lui-même. Cela permet au tuteur de se représenter l'apprentissage de la façon la plus réaliste possible en tenant compte des informations que l'étudiant a à l'écran.
