Abstract

Our aim is in the spirit of the Semantic Web: to generate an on-line database of machine-understandable mathematical documents, re-using the same methodology and standard technologies, as RDF, mostly based on the exploitation of metadata to improve smart searching and retrieving. In this paper we describe the syntax and semantics of a query language which gives access to a search engine capable of retrieving resources on the basis of meta-information: the role of metadata consists in filtering the relevant data.
