Zusammenfassung
Magentumoren sind grundsätzlich in gutartige und bösartige Tumoren zu differenzieren. In Abhängigkeit von ihrem Ursprungsgewebe lassen sie sich auch in epitheliale, mesenchymale und lymphatische Tumoren unterteilen. Innerhalb der Gruppe der benignen Tumoren finden sich reaktive/entzündliche Veränderungen und neoplastische Läsionen, die auf Grund ihres Entartungsrisikos auch als Präkanzerosen bezeichnet werden. Unter den malignen Magentumoren ist das Magenkarzinom am häufigsten.
Ätiologisch kommt neben genetischen Faktoren der Helicobacter pylori (H.p.-)Infektion eine besondere Bedeutung zu. Dies trifft in ähnlicher Weise auch für die Entstehung primärer Magenlymphome zu. Im Zentrum der Diagnostik aller Magentumoren steht heute die Endoskopie mit nachfolgender histologischer Begutachtung der Schleimhautbiopsien. Die Therapie wird durch die histologische Klassifikation und das Tumorstadium bestimmt und umfasst sowohl operative wie konservative und multimodale Strategien.
