Conclusion
Horseshoe crabs have more to offer than anyone of us realize. Their contributions to science are phenomenal. The most important contribution of horseshoe crabs is the unique medical product, LAL, which has no replacement. Every human being at one time in their lives will benefit from horseshoe crabs. With increased awareness and further study, hopefully the horseshoe crab will survive for many, many more eons.
