Abstract
Next to Alcohol and Drugs, the Friends and Entertainment domain emerged as the most influential in shaping substance abuse. The images of alcohol and drugs, for the users, are closely related to entertainment. An extension of comparative imaging to include additional domains (Self and Family, Problems, School, etc.) reveals additional insights about the dominant perceptions, attitudes, and other internal dispositions that shape young people’s behavior in regard to experimentation and use of harmful substances.
