Abstract

In about 10 of adults with asthma, but rarely in asthmatic children, aspirin and other nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) precipitate asthma attacks. This distinct clinical syndrome is called aspirin-induced asthma (AIA) [12, 16–18, 22].
