Abstract

The prevalence of allergic diseases has increased in many countries of the world during the last 10 or 20 years [6, 9, 16, 17, 21, 29, 41, 42]. Prevalence rates of atopic diseases such as asthma, rhinoconjuctivitis, and atopic eczema range between 10% and 20% in the general pediatric population.
