Abstract

Spatially shifted and temporally delayed pulses and pulse pairs are used for phase-coherent manipulation of phonon-polariton wavepackets as they propagate at light-like speeds. Spatiotemporal coherent control is conducted manually or through automated spatiotemporal pulse shaping, and is guided by spatiotemporal imaging of the propagating responses.
