Abstract
Chatom Field, which produces gas and gas condensate from the Upper Jurassic Smackover Formation, is located in T6N-R4W, Washington County, southwestern Alabama (Fig. 22-1). The field is situated on a salt ridge that extends northward to encompass several other productive fields, notably South State Line and Copeland.
