Abstract
This paper deals with simulation of plant development and focuses on influence of light. Most of the previously published methods dealing with light in these simulations use sky discretization, source of aliasing error which was never mentioned in literature. This paper investigates the problem and proposes a solution to it. The second influence which strongly affects the shape of a plant is the relationship between the amount of light and the activity of buds. We offer here a simplified model to demonstrate this dependency.
