The series focuses on the broad field of practical philosophy (ethics, social and political philosophy and philosophy of action). Of special interest are books about basic notions and theoretical approaches in practical philosophy. Additionally, issues in Applied Philosophy (e.g. ethical issues of new technologies, ethics of the life sciences, normative political philosophy, philosophy of law) will be taken into account if they combine case studies with fundamental and methodological questions of philosophical ethics.
