Abstract

Data are given on polymorphism of interphase nucleolus organizer regions of chromosomes in Large White piglets, replacement gilts, sows obtained from PIC boars and replacement boars of this breed in different sex and age groups. An association between the frequency of interphase nucleolus organizer regions and adaptive response of the animals to new environmental conditions is shown.
