Abstract
The second harmonic generation of femtosecond laser pulses under Raman-Nath nonlinear diffraction in periodic domain structures of lithium niobate is considered. A theoretical model of Cherenkov nonlinear diffraction is used to calculate the spectral-angular characteristics of the second harmonic generation of femtosecond laser pulses under Raman-Nath nonlinear diffraction. Reliability of the results is confirmed by the experimental data.
