On the pluralism of interpretations of the concept of information

Abstract

The opinions of Russian and foreign scientists about the nature of the phenomenon of information within the main approaches to the definition of this concept are presented. The naturalness of the pluralism of interpretations of the concept of information for the current level of development of scientific and philosophical thought is argued.
