Abstract

The results of work on the development, creation, and operation of multipurpose mirror concentrating systems are given, in particular the large solar furnace, which has a capacity of 1 MW (Parkent, Uzbekistan). The issues of the development of the solar technologies in Uzbekistan are reviewed from the point of view of the target tasks of the International Solar Energy Institute established in Tashkent.
