A new variety of galium arkansanum (Rubiaceae) endemic to the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas

Abstract

A linear-leaved, unicostate phase ofGalium arkansanum Gray with pubescent corollas and the abaxial midvein of the leaves glabrous is segregated from the species as var.pubiflorum. It is presently known in the pure form only from the Ouachita Mountains in Montgomery County, Arkansas
