Suppression of HSPA5 reduces cell migration and invasion in TNBC cancer cells. a–c Three TNBC cell lines (a: MDA-MB-231, b: HS578T, c: HBL100) were transfected with shHSPA5 #1, #2 or control vector (shctrl), and HSPA5 expression was confirmed by Western blot assay. TUBULIN was used as a loading control. Cell migration and invasion of shctrl-cells and shHSPA5-cells were analyzed by transwell migration and matrigel invasion assay and normalized to cell proliferation. Percentage of cell migration and invasion/proliferation is shown relative to shctrl-cells. Data shown are mean ± SEM of three independent experiments performed in triplicate. ***P < 0.0001
