Estimating the limit state of sealants in aircraft structures

Abstract

A computational and experimental study of the mechanical properties of the Viksint U-2-28NT sealant under uniaxial elongation and shear is carried out. The possibility of strength calculation of the sealant in terms of the elongation ratio limit value measured by the tension test results is shown.
