Development of eastern Russia: Experience of research, and current tendencies

Abstract

Territorial development is one of the determining economic-geographical processes for the east of Russia. A brief overview of the history of development of eastern Russia is presented. The main inherent characteristics of the eastern territories of today’s Russia are presented.
