Abstract
The article analyzes instruments of prudentia1 regulation of banking activities, provides a comparative analysis of their effectiveness, and also suggests the use of the discussed instruments by bodies of monetary policy, depending on the institutional conditions. The influence of different modes of banking regulation on the accumulation of risks in the banking system is also analyzed.
