Abstract

Complexes of Co(II) and Ni(II) with 2-(7-bromo-2-oxo-5-phenyl-3H-1,4-benzodiazepin-1-yl)acetohydrazide and its condensation product with pyruvic acid were synthesized and studied. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, thermogravimetry, IR and EXAFS spectroscopy, as well as electrical conductivity and magnetic susceptibility measurements.
