Abstract

A theory of X-ray diffuse scattering (XRDS) from a crystal with pores in the form of triangular prisms has been developed. Solutions for the static Debye-Waller factor, intrinsic correlation function, and the correlation volume (which characterizes the XRDS angular distribution in reciprocal space) are obtained within this model. A numerical simulation of reciprocal space maps of X-ray diffuse scattering is performed. The influence of pore-size fluctuations on the formation of XRDS intensity isolines is demonstrated.
