Abstract

A method of determining the impedance of magnetic microwires in the microwave frequency range is proposed that is based on the measurement of a complex coefficient of microwave reflection from a sample placed into a shorted rectangular waveguide. The proposed method has been applied to the investigation of the effect of an external constant magnetic field on the impedance of a cobalt-rich microwire.
