Local Perturbations of the Schrödinger Operator on the Axis

Abstract

We present necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of eigenvalues of the Schrödinger operator on an axis under small local perturbations. In the case where the eigenvalues exist, we construct their asymptotic approximations.
